Krista Ojasaar (b. 1975) was born in Lääne Virumaa County, Estonia and currently resides in Tartu. She studied Estonian Literature and Culture Management at the University of Tartu, where she currently pursues a PhD in Estonian Literature. Ojasaar’s research focuses on the status and contribution of Estonian literary organizations during the period from 1930 to 1940. She works at the Estonian Literary Museum and is also partner at the publishing house “Elusamus”. Her published poetry books are: Hommikused Unenäod (Morning Dreams, 2006), Unemuusika (Dream Music, 2008), Tumedad Linnad (Dark Cities, 2010) and Õhuookean (Air Ocean, 2015).
