[Translator] Born in Saint Petersburg in 1993. She is a Literature graduate from the Saint Petersburg State University and also holds a Master’s Degree from the Department of Byzantine and Modern Greek Philology at the same institution. She was awarded a scholarship for young translators of Modern Greek literature by the Kostas & Eleni Ourani Foundation and Petros Charis Foundation, which allowed her to spend four years living in Athens. She has also attended courses in Nicosia, Anafi and Verona. Her translations into Russian include Ken Binmore’s “Game Theory: A Very Short Introduction” (publ. by Delo), Pavlos Matesis’s “The Mother of the Dog” and the texts of the speech and catalogue for the exhibition “Ta Stoicheiodi” (“The Bare Essentials”) by Greek painter Christos Bokoros (held in MMOMA from December 13, 2016 until January 29, 2017). Her articles and translations of Greek poems have been published in the journal of Saint Petersburg State University. These translations include: “Tessera Poiimata” (Four Poems) by Dimitris Voulgaris, “Plythintikos Arithmos” (The Plural) by Kiki Dimoula, “Anna” (Anne) by Aris Alexandrou, “Den Eimaste Poiites” (We Are Not Poets) by Giorgos Sarantaris, and the article “Brodsky – Proskynitis – Metallourgos” (“Brodsky – Pilgrim – Metalsmith”), written to commemorate Joseph Brodsky’s anniversary. She has participated in the following competitions: IV Black Sea Translation Contest 2018 (won 2nd prize for Greek to Russian Translation), III Black Sea Translation Contest 2017 (won 1st prize for Greek to Russian Translation and 2nd prize for Italian to Russian Translation) and the Moscow University Competition (won special prize for translating the short story “Tarararoura” by Dimosthenis Papamarkos).
