Michela Zanarella (1980) was born in Cittadella. She lives and works in Rome since 2007. Her poetry books are: Credo (2006), Risvegli (Awakenings, 2008), Vita (half-completed), Paradisi (Paradises, 2009), Sensualità (Sensuality, 2011), Meditazioni al femminile (Female Meditations, 2012), L’estetica dell’ oltre (The Aesthetics of Others, 2013), Le identità del cielo (The identity of the sky, 2013), Tragicamente rosso (Tragically red, 2015), Le parole accanto (The next speech, 2017). Zanerella’s collection Imensele coincidente (Immense Coincidences) was published in a bilingual edition in Romania in 2015. Zanarella is author of books and theatrical plays and publisher of the website Periodico Italiano Magazine e Laici.it. Her poems have been translated into English, French, Arabic, Spanish, Romanian, Serbian, Greek, Portuguese, Indian and Japanese. In 2016, Zanarella won the Creativity Prize of the Naji Naaman Foundation, in which she is also cultural ambassador and representative of Italy in Lebanon. She is also director of Writers Capital International Foundation and member of Accademia Cosentina, founded in 1511 by Aulo Giano Parrasio. Zanarella also collaborates with EMUI_EuroMed University as head of international relations.
