Guim Valls (b. 1992) is native of Barcelona. He writes literature since he was 12 years old. His passion for poetry was developed when he grew older, but once poems were introduced into his life, they never abandoned his thoughts. He studied English and Catalan Language and Literature at the University of Barcelona and has so far published the poetry collections “Quincalla del segle” (Trinkets of the century, publ. by Roure, 2015) and “La mà dins la roda” (The hand on the wheel, publ. by Viena, 2017), for which he won the Premi de Poesia Marti Dot de Santy Feliu de Llobregat in 2016. Over the past years, he has been involved in poetry recitals held in various places, and also in carious art projects, such as the Nicomedes Mendes group, which specializes in improvisation and oral poetry.
