Cornelia Travnicek (1987) was born in Sankt Pölten and studied Informatics and Chinese Studies. She works a part-time researcher at VRVis, the Austrian research center for virtual reality and visualization, and occasionally translates Chinese poetry and short prose into German. Her novel “Chucks” was adapted into film in 2015. She recently published the novel Junge Hunden (Young Dogs, publ. by Deutsche Verlags-Anstalt, 2015) and the poetry compilation Parablüb (publ. by Limbus, 2017). Her list of awards includes the Audience Award at the German Literature Days 2012.
