Marko Stojkić (Smederevo, 1981) published the following collections of poetry: Light Pains (2011) and Almonds (2016). He translates from German, mainly contemporary poetry (Thomas Klug, Gerhard Faulkner, Nelly Sachs) and essays (Bertolt Brecht, Karl Krolow). His poems are included in anthologies of modern Serbian poetry: Places and Figures by Vladimir Stojnić, Van, tu: fri by Vladimir Đuričić and Vladimir Stojnić, as well as in the Panorama of later Serbian poetry Restart by Goran Lazičić. In recent years he has been more involved in prose. From 1997 to 2011 he lived in Belgrade, while now he lives in Germany (Villingen-Sveningen), where he works as a doctor.
