Born in 1982, in Sofia, Bulgaria. At present she is a senior assistant professor in Comparative Literary in the Department of Theory of Literature at Sofia University. She published a book with her PhD thesis: Event and Example in Plato and Aristotle, 2012. She is also working on the theoretical project The Transformation of the Concept of Mimesis in XX. Since 2009 she has been an editor of Bulgarian literary newspaper Literaturen vestnik. In 2015 we have created π - an open group for activities and interactions between poetry and philosophy (VBV, Maria Kalinova, Ognian Kassabov, Dimitar Bojkov and Yunuz M. Yunuz). We have written "Chaos (editor's manifesto)". In 2007 Kamelia Spassova published her first poetry book, Parcel N: 17 (Plot No. 17). Her second poetry book is Kenosis – a book of emptiness, 2015. Her poems have been translated into English, German, Romanian, Greek , Turkish, Danish, Russian, Romanian, Croatian, Serbian and Italian.
