Hanna Riisager (1990) was born in Göteborg. Her debut poetry compilation “För Kvalia” (publ. by Dockhaveri Förlag in 2015) was nominated for the 2016 Katapult Prize of the Swedish Writers’ Union for debuting authors. This poetry book was accompanied by a music soundtrack composed by Daniel Westerlund. Several poems from that collection were translated into Romanian and French by the Romanian poet Linda Maria Baros and published in the journals Poesis International (2016, no.2) and La Traductiere (no.35). Riisager has published poems and literary reviews in the Scandinavian magazines Kritiker, Floret and Lyrikvännen. In 2011, she participated in the creation of the feminist publishing platform Dockhaverin, in which she maintains an active involvement as both publisher and editor.
