Laia Noguera i Clofent (b. 1983) was raised in Calella. She composes, recites and translates poetry, and also composes and teaches music. She has been writing poetry for the past fifteen years, and continues to hone her craft alongside great artists. She has so far published fifteen poetry volumes, including the award-winning “Triomf” (Triumph, won the Miquel de Palol prize, 2009) and “Caure” (Fall, won the XLIX Ausiàs March de Gandia award, 2011). She recently published the book “Qué extraña ventana” (What a strange window) in Spanish, and also the book “Amor Total” (Total love), which is a 500-page volume dedicated to poetry and theater. She has organized events and interdisciplinary conferences with various artists, including Josep Manuel Berenguer, Betina Kuntzsch, Quim Moya, Fiona Morrison, Jordi Aligué, Helena Pellisé, Santi Careta, Mireia Chalamanch, Roger Illa and Celeste Alías.
