Grug Muse is a bilingual poet and essayist whose work in both languages –Welsh and English– has appeared in Barddas, Tu Chwith, Barn, O’r Pedwar Gwynt, Y Stamp, Poetry Wales, Wales Art Review and Panorama: the journal of intelligent travel. She has work also forthcoming with the Atlanta Review, Ache, Porridge and Parthian. In 2017, her first book of poetry – Ar Ddisberod – was published by Cyhoeddiadau Barddas. As well as writing, she an editor and founder of Y Stamp Magazine and Publications, an independent Welsh language arts magazine and publisher founded in 2017. She is also currently working on her PhD thesis on Welsh travel writing at Swansea University. Between 2018-19 she was a Hay Writer at Work at Hay Festival. Her interests include travel writing, writing of landscape and ecology, and gender.
