Zuzana Lazarová is a Czech poet and photographer. She studied the Theory and History of Art at Masaryk University and the photography at FAMU. Her poems are published in magazines A2, Tvar, and Surreal Revue Analogon. She was also featured in the Nejlepší české básně 2013 (Best Czech Poetry anthology in 2013). She prepared animated scenes for Jan Švankmajer's film Surviving Life (2010). With her photography she illustrated the novel Umina verze by Emil Hakl (Argo, 2016). Currently she is a photographer of Salon Práva and she cooperates with the JEDL theatre ensemble (Jan Nebeský, Lucie Trmíková, David Prachař). In 2015 she released her debut poetry collection Železná košile (The Iron Shirt), which was nominated for the Jiří Orten Prize and translated into German (Kētos, 2018).
