Aurélia Lassaque (1983) currently lives in Toulouse, where she dreams and composes in two languages, French and Occitan. Being a cosmopolitan poet with a true flair for staging performances, her poetry readings in France and abroad are set to music, sometimes interacting with other forms of art, such as singing, painting and dancing. Her first poetry collection “Pour que chantent les Salamandres” (For the salamanders to sing), published by Bruno Doucey 2013, has been translated into many languages and recorded on more than one occasion.
