Agnese Krivade (born in 1981) is a Latvian poetess, she holds a Social Relations degree, has worked in fields of journalism, social relations and advertising. Krivade used to regularly contribute to the literary column of the Diena newspaper. She has published several reviews and critical articles in other platforms. Her poetry and prose works have been published in Latvian newspapers, magazines, collections and anthologies. She made her début with a well received, visually inventive, at times controversial collection of poems Childhood/ Bērnība in 2007. The same year, she attended the young writers seminar in Bremen, Germany, and participated in the Goteburg Book fair readings. Krivade's stories, interviews and reviews also attest her presence in Latvian cultural space. She is currently interested in experimental and accidental textual expression, movement and variety of art forms, she collaborates with composers, musicians and other performers, for instance, in 2015, she wrote an experimental piece for artist Ieva Epnere's project «Waiting Room» in Brussels, titled «Salle d'attente» in French.
