Alice Kinsella is a poet from Dublin raised in Mayo. She currently lives in Sligo with her partner.
She holds a BA (Hons) in English Literature and Philosophy from Trinity College Dublin, and a first class honours Masters in Writing from NUI, Galway.
Her poetry is widely published. Her video poem ‘When’, a feminist reworking of Kipling’s ‘If-’ featuring sixteen female poets, was published in The Irish Times for International Women’s Day 2017.
Alice's poetry has received shortlistings in competitions such as the Doolin Poetry Competition (2019), Gregorygue International Poetry Prize (2018), the Anthony Cronin International Poetry Award (2018), Over the Edge New Writer of the Year.
