Andrus Kasemaa (b. 1984) was born in Dirhami, Northwest Estonia and currently lives in Hiiumaa. He graduated in Literature and Cultural Sciences from the University of Tartu. His published poetry books to date are: Poeedirahu (The Poet’s Peace, 2008), Lagunemine (Disintegration, 2009), Olla Luuletaja (To Be a Poet, 2017), Kui Ma Kord Suren (When I Die, Someday, 2018), Muusa (Muse, 2019) and Mees Otsib Naist (Man Looking for a Woman, 2019). Andrus Kasemaa is also author of the novels Leskede Kadunud Maailm (The Lost World of Widows, 2012) and Vanapois (The Bachelor, 2019).
