Fria Isberg (1992) is an Icelandic author and poet based in Reykjavik. Her works include the short story collection Kla?i, (e. Itch) which was shortlisted for The Icelandic Women's Literature Prize 2019 for Fiction, and the poetry collection Slitforin (e. The Stretch Marks) which won The Icelandic Booksellers Choice Award for Poetry 2017 and the Grassroots Grant from the Icelandic Literature Center 2017. She is a member of the Icelandic poetry collective Svikaskald (e. The Imposter Poets), a six female group that publishes a collective book of poetry annually. Her works have been published in numerous magazines in Iceland and abroad. She occasionally writes reviews for The Times Literary Supplement.
