Iñigo Astiz Martinez (born April 23, 1985 in Pamplona, Navarre) is a Basque poet and journalist. In 2019 he received the Lauaxeta Award for his collection of poems The Illiterate. He has published a book of poems for children in Joemak and cuts. He has translated two anthologies of poems into Basque, one by Sylvia Plath (Ariel and other poems, Denonartean, 2013) and the other by Sandro Pennar, illustrated by Damaris Pan (A Collection, Black Pharmacy, 2019). In 2020 he received the prize for children's and young people's literature at the Euskadi Literature Awards for his book Joema eta Polasak.
