Jürg Halter (1980) was born in Bern and studied at the Bern University of the Arts. He is a Bern-based writer, musician and artist, who frequently embarks in travels all around Europe, U.S.A, Africa, Russia and Japan. His resume features many book publications and CD releases. His fourth poetry book “Wir Fürchten das Ende der Musik” (We are afraid of the end of music, publ. by Wallstein) was released in 2014, followed by 2016’s “Das 48-Stunden-Gedicht” (The 48-hour poem, publ. by Wallstein). His first novel “Erwachen im 21.Jahrhundert” (Waking up in the 21st century, publ. by Zytglogge) was published in 2018.
