Baptiste Gaillard (1982) has exhibited installations and object art in galleries and art spaces in Lucerne, Basel, Berlin, Geneva and Lausanne. Nevertheless, language gradually became his principal working tool. His works have been featured in various magazines (La Revue de Belles-Lettres, Archipel, Rehauts and Watts). He has published the following books: “Le chemin de Lennie” (Lennie’s Path, publ. by Héros-Limite/HEAD, 2013), “r a z” (publ. by Contre-mur, 2017), “Un domain des corpuscules” (A domain of particles, publ. by Hippocampe, 2017) and “Bonsaï” (publ. by Hippocampe, 2018). He was the recipient of the 2018 Swiss Prize for Literature.
