Laurent Cennamo (1980) was born in Geneva. The publishing house Samizdat has published three of his poetry books: “Les rideaux orange” (The orange curtains, 2011, won the Prix Pittard de l’Andelyn), “Pierres que la mer a consumées” (Rocks consumed by the sea, 2013, won the Terra Nova prize of the Schiller Foundation) and “FH” (2016). Two more poetry compilations have been released by the publishing house La Dogana: “À celui qui fut pendu par les pieds” (To the one hanged by his feet, 2014) and “Les angles étincelants” (The shimmering angles, 2017). In 2017, he was admitted to the Saint-John Perse Foundation at Aix-en-Provence, where he collaborated in the composition of poems and prose fragments that were eventually published in the book “L’herbe rase, l’herbe haute” (The short grass, the high grass, publ. by Bruno Doucey, 2018). He has collaborated with various Swiss and French literary magazines (La Revue de Belles-Lettres, Viceversa Littérature, Terre à Ciel, Diérèrse, Rehauts, Arpa).
