Thibaut Binard was born in 1980. He lived in Liege and many other places. He studied Philosophy and he dedicated his dissertation to Proust: "The idea of perspective in Search of Lost Time". His passion for writing was dominant in his life. From his teenage years, poetry was not an end in itself for him, but an instrument on which he worked regarding intensity, character and accuracy. His first poems were published in magazines in Belgium and France. At the beginning of his second book, Thibaut quotes Cioran: "Reality brings me asthma". His first book, Lancer!, was published in Brussels by MaelstrÖm in 2007. Diagonal Doce, a book born from his Latin American trip, was published after his death by La Différence, in 2008. Thibaut Binard died on September 16, 2005. He left many poems, notes, letters and two novels.
