Laura Accerboni (1985) was born in Genoa. She graduated in modern literature and earned her Master’s degree in Italian Literature from the Università della Svizzera Italiana in Lugano. Her poetry has been featured in various magazines, such as Nuova Corrente, Italian Poetry Review, Gradiva, Poesia, Lo Specchio, Steve, Capoverso and Loch Raven Review. She made her debut in 2010 with “Attorno a ciò che non è stato” (On what there never was, publ. by Edizioni del Leone), which won the Premio Marazza Opera Prima for 2012. Her unpublished poetry has won her many awards, among which the Lerici-PEA (1996), Il Molinello (2000) and Piero Alinari (2011) prizes. Since 2012, she is member of the editorial board of the poetry review Steve (publ. by Edizioni del Laboratorio). Her works have been translated into English, French, German, Romanian and Armenian.
