[Translator] Thanassis Vavlidas was born in Athens in 1964. He studied Economics and Foreign Languages (English, French, German, Spanish). He occupies himself systematically with poetry, prose, translations and criticism. He started 1985 and since then twelve books of poetry, theater, essays, short stories have been published, mainly by Dodoni and Odos Panos publications. He regularly collaborates with Echos and Odos Panos magazines. His poems have been composed by the composers Dimitris Andronis, Alexandros Mouzas, Giorgos Koulouriotis, Haris Siakantaris, Nodas Papamichail, Nikos Athanasakis and Kostas Flerianos (the composes of the last three have been released on CD). He is member of the clubs: Hellenic union of flute from straw, Guitar Friends Association Dimitris Fambas, Union of Greek Critics for Drama and Music, Art Workshop of Elefsina, Society of Greek Writers, Friends of the Archaeological Museum.
