[Translator] Stella Pekiaridi was born in 1980 in Athens. She studied Medieval and Modern Greek Philology at the National Kapodistrian University of Athens, Literary Translation with a specialization in Italian at the European Center for the Translation of Literature and Humanities and Cultural Management at Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences. She has attended seminars on editing, storytelling and children's book illustration at the National Book Center, in Greek publishing houses and training centers. She has been working in the field of print and electronic publications and media since 2005 as a translator, curator, copywriter, cultural editor and professional reader. Her working languages are Greek, English, Italian, Spanish and Dutch. At the same time, she deals with research theory of photography and visual culture. She lives between Greece and the Netherlands.
