[Anthologist and translator] Born in Saint Petersburg (called Leningrad at the time) in 1988. In 2012, he graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Management at the Saint Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering. In 2017, he graduated from a Master programme on Byzantine and Modern Greek Literature at the same university; the subject of his Master’s Thesis was “Typographic experiments in Greek avant-garde poetry”. As of 2018, he is a postgraduate student at the Saint Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering. He was the founder of Grave Jibes Fanzine, a music magazine than ran for 12 issues from 2008 to 2012. He began playing music and organizing music and poetry events in 2008. He has been member of various bands, releasing music in various countries such as Russia, France, Germany and the U.S.A. He has played concerts in Russia, Finland and Lithuania. His articles on music have been published in Russia, France, Great Britain and the U.S.A. In 2015, he translated from English and edited the first Russian collection of poems by modernist female poet Mina Loy (titled “Mina Loy: Futurism and Feminism”, publ. by Skifiya Print, 2015). In 2016, he translated poems and biographical notes from 10 Greek poets for the special issue of Pollen magazine on Greek avant-garde poetry. He has given lectures on Greek avant-garde in bookstores around Saint Petersburg. In 2018, he translated from Greek and edited the publication of Andreas Pagoulatos’s poem “Perama” (publ. by Svoe Izdatelstvo, 2018). His articles on Greek avant-garde have been published in magazines such as Lacanalia, Furfur, Pollen, Vakxikon.gr etc.
