MICHELA CORVINO was born in 1977 in Foggia, Italy, and studied classical literature at the University of Bari Aldo Moro. She first visited Greece in 2001 and decided to move permanently in 2005. In 2006, Michela took up postgraduate studies in classical archaeology at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and eventually returned to the same university in 2016 to pursue a Master’s programme in translation. From 2018 to date, she is a doctoral student at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (EKPA).
Michela translates from Ancient Greek and Latin ever since she was 15 years old and has also participated in collaborative translations in the framework of her academic studies.
