KONSTANTINA CHRISTOPOULOU was born in Kiparissia, Messinia, in 1975. She graduated from the Department of Foreign Languages, Translation and Interpretation of the Ionian University with a specialization in Spanish language and literature, and continued her studies first at the Faculty of Theology and afterwards at the Department of Italian Language and Literature of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, earning a scholarship to study at the Universitá per stranieri di Perugia and the Universitá di Verona. She holds a Master’s Degree in Translation, Communication and Publishing from the Department of Italian Language and Literature at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and currently studies at the Division of Tourism Management and Hospitality of the Department of Business Administration at the School of Business and Finance of the University of Western Macedonia (formerly Technological Education Institute (T.E.I.) of Western Macedonia). Konstantina mainly works as teacher of Italian and Spanish, and her translation work is mostly dedicated to literary and theological texts, done for the most part in the framework of collaborative translations during her graduate and postgraduate studies. She has also participated as translator and interpreter in national and international conferences.
