[Translator] Antonios Bogadakis is a History and Archaeology graduate from the Department of History and Archaeology at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and an Aesthetics and Art History graduate from Södertörns University College in Stockholm. In addition, he holds Master’s Degrees in European Intellectual and Cultural History (from Queen Mary & Westfield College at the University of London), in Cities, Culture and Social Change (from the Geography Department of King’s College at the University of London) and Cultural Studies (from London Consortium). He has worked as language teacher at Folkuniversitet in Södertälje, Sweden, as university lecturer (at the Department of Law of the Metropolitan University of London), as archaeologist and as magazine editor (Greek Art Magazine, Futura Publications, Greece). He has been involved in various art projects and exhibitions as curator, (“To the Lighthouse” by Niki Goulemas, “Kris: an art essay on the notion of crisis” by the Swedish Institute at Athens, “Love and Death in Amorous Art” by Big Family Business, at Istanbul, Turkey), as co-curator (various art projects of Konstklubben at Södertörn University College, Christodoulos Panayiotou’s “Arkadaslar”, jointly with co-curator Sylvia Kouvalis, at Istanbul, Turkey) and as art critic (Tidningen Kulturen magazine, Stockholm, Sweden). He translated the poetry compilation “Vitsvit” by Athens Farrokhzad from Swedish into Greek (publ. by Antipodes Publications, 2016, Athens). He is fluent in English and Swedish and has a good knowledge of German. He currently works as secondary education teacher at Torvalla School in Östersund, Sweden.
